"Chongqing-Xin-Europe" refers to an international railway corridor from Chongqing to Europe. It utilizes the Southern Route of the Eurasian Land Bridge international railway passage, starting from Chongqing, passing through Xi'an, Lanzhou, Urumqi, continuing west across Northern Xinjiang Railway, reaching the border port of Alashankou, entering Kazakhstan, then traversing Russia, Belarus, Poland, and finally reaching Duisburg, Germany, covering a total distance of 11,179 kilometers. This railway transport route was jointly coordinated and established by the railway and customs departments of six countries along the route. Chongqing is the new starting point of the Eurasian Land Bridge. "Chongqing" refers to Chongqing, "Xin" refers to the Xinjiang-Alashankou, "Europe" denotes Europe, collectively termed as "Chongqing-Xin-Europe."

In response to the demands of establishing Asia's largest laptop manufacturing base and an inland open highland in Chongqing, with significant support from national ministries such as the General Administration of Customs and the Ministry of Railways, the Chongqing Municipal Party Committee and Government further optimized and improved the original Eurasian Land Bridge, successfully opening the "Chongqing-Xin-Europe" international intermodal transportation corridor. This international multimodal transportation corridor connecting Chongqing to Europe starts from Tuanshijie, Chongqing, passing through Alashankou in Xinjiang to Kazakhstan, Russia, Belarus, Poland, and finally to Duisburg, Germany, spanning a total of 11,179 kilometers. The operation time of the "Chongqing-Xin-Europe" international intermodal transportation corridor saves approximately 20 days compared to the Iron-Sea Intermodal Transportation (via Yushen Railway to Europe) or River-Sea Intermodal Transportation (via Yangtze River waterway to Shanghai and then to Europe), with a reduced travel distance of over 1000 kilometers compared to the Northern Railway route (via Manzhouli crossing, passing through Russia, Belarus, Poland to Germany). The radiating area mainly focuses on Western China and regions south of the Yangtze River compared to the Eurasian Continental Bridge II (from Lianyungang, Jiangsu, China, via Alashankou in Xinjiang to Rotterdam, Netherlands).

The "Chongqing-Xin-Europe" international intermodal transportation corridor breaks the traditional Chinese foreign trade pattern centered around eastern coastal cities, accelerates the realization of Asia-Europe railway integration construction, and establishes economic and cultural bridges with the countries along the route. For Chongqing, "Chongqing-Xin-Europe" completely transforms its inward-oriented economic structure and plays an indispensable role in developing world-class industrial clusters and becoming an open highland in the inland region.
